It was apparent to all who experienced the ministry of 2nd Chapter of Acts that they prayerfully sought to stay in harmony with God’s will. So when the contemporary trio sense His call to call to record a hymns album in the mid-eighties, they responded in faith. They chose hymns that exalted God’s power and majesty. the Lord had impressed upon them His desire to breathe new life into these hymns for their generation, and their own hearts were the first to be touched. They succeeded in preserving the traditional dignity of each hymn within a refreshing, yet intimate, contemporary setting. Hymns received a Dove Award for Inspirational Album of the Year.
